Assistant to Director, Marketing and Director, Development
Regular Full-TIme
Reporting to both Directors, this positionis a pivotal department assistant role at the centre of critical activity at the AGO. You will support the work of the two directors including coordinating their schedules, meetings and contacts while ensuring they have the documents and tools necessary. You also support the departments by planning and organizing team meetings and coordinating the flow of documents and information.
Your applied knowledge of executive and office management techniques and practices, achieved through a minimum of 3 years’ related experience in an institutional or not-for-profit environment may be complemented by relevant post-secondary education. In addition, you have complete command of Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge fundraising database.
You bring exceptional skills in document and presentation preparation including insightful research, writing and proofing. Your have a good working knowledge of department budget control, expense tracking and reporting. You have also worked on policy planning and review, business planning including setting priorities and timelines. Finally, you are comfortable dealing with the public on behalf of leadership functioning with discretion, confidentiality and a positive attitude.
