on being beyond words

being beyond words:
it isn't bad thing
but it isn't a good thing

sometimes when we lack the words,
things seem a little clearer.

sometimes when we lack the words,
the world gets a little hazier.

there are days that i like best
when i stutter
and don't know what to say
there's still compassion in my heart
a little fight in soul
its just,
the words just don't seem to fit right.

sometimes i can say it best
in beyond words:

because at the bottom of it all,
regardless of
expectations
and
obligations
we all just want to know that there is someone there
someone who cares, whether they know the right words to say
or if they trip and stumble in trying to find them
or the just sit and understand with you.
in being beyond words
we use
silence
to say everything we need.
